BUSINESS

MAASH, produces mycoprotein (branded LoCylia) through submerged fermentation of filamentous fungi for use as a meat-replacement ingredient in food applications such as burger patties, sausages, and nuggets. In July 2024, MAASH acquired the assets of Metex Nøøvista, a subsidiary of the publicly listed METabolix Explorer group that had entered judicial reorganization, giving MAASH a recently built fermentation facility in Saint-Avold, France on the Chemesis industrial platform.
