BIOTECH INVOLVEMENT
Suntaq develops and produces a portfolio of more than 20 commercial enzymes via submerged microbial fermentation, including glucoamylase (Aspergillus niger), alpha-amylase and pullulanase (Bacillus subtilis, B. licheniformis), phytase, xylanase, lipase, protease, beta-glucanase, cellulase (Trichoderma reesei), beta-mannanase, pectinase, alpha-galactosidase, and glucose oxidase, sold into animal feed, baking, fuel ethanol and distillery, starch sweetener, brewing, wine and juice, textile, detergent, and paper end markets.
